Dr Debra Carr is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of IOM3 and a Fellow of the Chartered Society of Forensic Science. A materials engineer by training with expertise in textile science, Debra has worked on textile damage projects for over 20 years. In 2012, Debra was awarded a Churchill Fellowship and in 2017 published Forensic Textile Science which is the only textbook dedicated to this topic.
In this presentation, Debra will summarize some of the work that has considered ballistic and sharp weapon impacts onto fabrics.
